Finland, Sweden, a joint issue, a booklet with three stamps,
Suomenlinna - Sveaborg - Helsingfors. It is the largest sea citadel of the world; 1 km off Helsinki.
The building started in 1747. Suomenlinna was placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1991.

Norway, a set with six stamps "Turistfrimerker", among them the ferry "Skibladner".
The paddle steamer has his 150th anniversary!

Argentina, a se-tenant of four stamps, merchant ships. These stamps were issued in September 2005 and now, after
8 months, they are available in Germany!

Pitcairn Islands, a souvenir sheet with one stamp, "Commemorating Old Glory 175 Years". The term "Old Glory" belongs
to the captain Driver, who left Salem in 1831 with his brig "Charles Doggett".
On this voyage he has the US flag with 24 stars aboard, sewed by his mother. When the flag floated in the ocean wind
first time, he cried "Old Glory". During this voyage he saved some mutineers of the "Bounty".

Namibia, some stamps were overprinted with new values. Among them this stamp from
2004, "The Fishing Industry in Namibia".

Mauritania, a set with two stamps, "45 eme anniversaire de la fete d'Independance Nationale", 45 years
independence.
Left top on the stamp there is a trawler, right a drilling platform with a supply vessel.

Mauritanie et la Chine", 45 years diplomatic connections to China. As we can see on the stamps, the exchange of goods
was pretty well.

Arctic research. The vessel is the "Princesse Alice II".

Sweden, a se-tenant of four stamps "Summer at a Sea". Among them this rowboat. The woman is rowing,
the man picks up sea-roses!

The German transportation company RIDAS, Ribnitz-Damgartener Sicherheitsservice, had issued many own stamps
in the past. Now the company offers two new stamps with maritime topics.
Left the reed-boat "Arbora II", right the "Santa Maria", honouring the 500th day of death of Columbus.

To show some more stamps and/or whole souvenir-sheets the pictures are high
compressed, so accuracy goes down.
