Falkland Island, a set with four stamps, Restoration of the SS "Great Britain" 40th Anniversary. These stamps will be issued on 12th April. The 27p stamp shows the "Great Britain" positioned on the pontoon alongside a jetty in Stanley prior to being towed to Bristol. The 50p stamp beached at Sparrow Cove where she was rested for 33 years. 65p showing the bow section of the ss Great Britain. £1.10 - showing one of the masts and remains of her rigging. Iceland, a set with four stamps, Steam Trawlers. Here we have the pictures from the stamp booklets. On the 75kr stamps we see the trawlers "Ingolfur Arnarson" and "Bjarni Riddari". On the 165kr stamps we see the "Solborg" and the "Hardbakur".

Canada, a single stamp , Canada Post honours William Hall as part of Black History Month. He was the first Canadian sailor and black man to receive the Victoria Cross, the military honour for bravery during combat In the background we see the HMS "Shannon".

Germany, a stamp of the series "Post" with a painted steamship.

Argentina, a single stamp and a souvenir sheet with 14 stamps "Velas Sudamerica 2010", a windjammer race around South America. On the left stamp the "Libertad" is depicted. In the center of the sheet we see the "Esmeralda" and the "Libertad". In the upper row there are: "Dr. Bernardo Houssay", "Ice Lady Patagonia II", "Gringo", "Gloria", "Guayas" and "Juan Sebastian de Elcano". In the lower row: "Cisne Blanco", "Europa", "Cuauthemoc", "Capitan Miranda", "Simon Bolivar" and "Sagres".

Finland, a souvenir sheet with two stamps "Maritime North" with the port of Kotka. This picture was taken from the Finnish stamp information 2/2010. The steamer is the museum ship "Tarmo".

There are diffetrent types of junks depicted. The man on the upper sheet should be Zheng He, on the lower sheet Kubilai Khan.

Note: It is wellknown, that stamps from some African and some Asian countries are made "quick and dirty", only to make money. They are not worth to collect (see above). The pictures are imprecise, the text is wrong or has errors and the print is bad. But they are flooding the market with exorbitant prices. These stamps were offered by stamp dealers and it is difficult to decide, if ships on Stamps should take them on the internet page or not. However, everyone should be able to decide for themselves what he wants to collect.
