Portugal, one stamp and a small sheet about Fernando Mendes Pinto. Pinto was explorer and writer. He made many voyages to the Middle and Far East and to Japan. 400 years ago, in 1614 he wrote a report 'pilgrim travel' (Peregrinacao).

Spain, a single stamp with Juan Ponce de Leon. He reached the coast of Florida 500 years ago.

Argentina, a single stamp, in honor of Admiral Guillermo Brown's 200th anniversary of the Battle of Montevideo on 04/19/1814.

Vanuatu, Fiji, a se-tenant of six stamps. It is reminiscent of the completions of the underwater cable between Vanuatu and Fiji.

Iceland, 4 stamps in two booklets, trawlers and multipurpose fishing vessels. Upper left there is the trawler "Stalvik" and right "Bardi". Second line a European stamp with the "Breki" and the "Övar".

Tchad, a souvenir sheet with two stamps with Amerigo Vespucci and Vasco da Gama. Top left on the sheet Henry, the Navigator and bottom left Bartholomew Diaz is shown. Only the Vespucci stamp is seen on another sheet with Columbus, another sheet with the da Gama stamp shows Magellan.

And then a small sheet "caravels" printed with both stamps.

Australia Antarctic Territory, a souvenir sheet with 5 stamps. From 1911 - 1914 the "Australasian Antarctic Expedition" took place. Now, 100 years ago the participants returned home. Malta, a set of four stamps in the series "Commemorations". On these stamps bicentenary (1814 -2014) of the police is remembered.

These two stamps symbolize 35 years since British troops had left Malta. The ships HMS "Alexander" (1800) and HMS "London" (1979) are depicted.
