Micronesia and Palau have both issued a souvenir sheet, each with six stamps
under the title 'Operation Iraqi Freedom, a salute to our heroes'.
On both sheets there are aircrafts, rockets, tanks, helicopters and two ships depicted.
On the Micronesian sheet we see the USS 'Anzio' (CG 68), left and on the Palau sheet
The USS 'Donald Cook' (DDG 75), right. The lettering 'Aegis Cruiser' on the Anzio stamp
tells us, that an Aegis Radar System is installed. This system is very useful as an
anti-rocket weapon. Information by Peter Crichton
